Sydney Hotels Accommodation

William asks…

What’s the best luxury accommodation in Sydney for my wedding night?

Im looking for a hotel suite or serviced apartment in Sydney for my wedding night accommodation.

Must have:
- Spa bath
- great view
- plenty of room eg no small rooms
- within 25km of the city but the closer the better

Im looking for suggestions for extreme luxury- anything under $900 per night as we want the best of the best

Give me you wildest dream suggestions too eg executive suites or presidential suites or penthouses

You have to look into ‘The Observatory Hotel’ at the Rocks in Sydney. I believe it’s one of the ‘Leading Hotels of the World’ and it is total luxury and class.

My husband and I spent our wedding anniversary there. The views from our spacious room were breathtaking and looked out directly onto Sydney Harbour. We had a good sized spa bath in our bathroom with man-sized soft towels. There is also a health spa downstairs and as I understand, one of the finest health spas in the world.

Nothing was too good for the staff either. They were pleasant and friendly and helpful, but also respected our privacy during our romantic getaway.

This comes with a price tag as it is truly one of the finest hotels in the world.

By the way, when we did venture outside we took a horse drawn carriage ride around The Rocks – that was a very romantic way to see this quaint part of Sydney.

Last minute.com and wotif.com has fanatstic rates for random 5* hotels. Is a bit nerve racking but try one with a title centre of the shops and more – we got the Swissotel on Market Street (above Myer) in Sydney and a block from Town Hall station for really cheap – awesome place to stay too.

Steven asks…

Any best rates accommodation in Sydney City?

8 of us are planning to go Sydney in December 2010. I have been seraching online for the accommodation for hotel and serviced apartment but they are very expensive. Thought of the service apartment will be cheaper but those apartments at Kent Street, Pitt Street are not cheap too, the 2 bedrooms apartment is above AUD$650, some are AUD$900+ and 1000+.

Can someone let me know which service apartment have the best rates?

Can 8 of us stay in the 2 bedrooms apartment, maybe 2 of them have to sleep in the hall, do they allow if we don’t might, do they check?

Do we have to pay full price upon booking?

Do we have to pay if cancellation?

Easy to get car rent there? How much per day for a van to carry 8 person?

(No backpacked room and motel please because we have senior citizen in the group).

Thank you.

As jennifer mentioned http://www.wotif.com/hotels/australia-sydney-hotels.html would tell you almost everything about Sydney so would be quite a helpful for you.. There are lots of options mentioned there on Wotif.

And when you have to rent a car to travel then you may contact http://www.AustraliaRentCar.com as it is a well known local car rental service for Australia. So renting would also not be a problem to you…..

Problem solved….. :)

Have a nice Journey……
